Kite flying goes unnoticed

RAWALPINDI – Despite a complete ban on kite flying, kite sellers continue their business without any fear of police action.
Kites can be seen flying on the sky in Waris Khan, Naz Cinema, College Road, Umer Road, Dhoke Khaba, Dhoke Ealhi Bukush, Nadeem Colony, Chamanzar, cantonment areas Dheri Hassanabad, Bakra Mandi and its adjoining areas where business for kites on the peak. People of the areas demanded police to take action against the kite seller as many serious accidents had occurred in the past owing to kite flying.
Meanwhile, Inspector General Police Punjab, Haji Habeeb-ur-Rehman will address a press conference tomorrow (Sunday) at Police Line No 1 Hassan Raza Complex, said a press release. Among others, Regional Police Officer (RPO), City Police Officer (CPO and other senior police officials will attend the meeting.
