PESHAWAR – Members of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Rabita Committee district Chitral on Saturday demanded of the party leadership to give tickets to ideological workers in the district to contest the upcoming general elections.
Speaking at a press conference here at press club, JUI-F Rabita Committee, general secretary, Abdul Qadir alleged that party leaders were ignoring the ideological workers by proposing to award tickets to new entrants from other parties.
Flanked by other members of the Committee, naib ameer Maulana Abdullah, and Secretary Information Habibullah, he informed that party provincial leaders were nominated Maulana Hussain Ahmad, Maulana Sher Karim, Maulana Hidayatul Rahman, Maulana Yousaf and Maulana Obaid Farooq for awarding tickets at PK-90 constituency in Chitral. But the party leaders were considering to award tickets to new entrants from other political parties in the same constituency, he lamented.
“It was totally injustice with party ideological workers. We will not tolerate to ignore ideological workers, complying with the prescribed rules and party code of conduct.
If the leaders were ignored the real workers then it would be more harmful, he warned. He also criticized the incumbent government for failing to launch any mega development project in the district and alleged that rulers deliberately kept Chitral backward.
The committee members demanded of the JUI-F central and provincial leadership to award party tickets to ideological workers on priority basis and end the growing concern among the party workers.
