KHUZDAR  - A local leader of the Balochistan National Party (BNP) and his bodyguard were gunned down in Balochistan province on Sunday.
Police said Attaullah Muhammadzai was killed after unidentified assailants opened fire indiscriminately at the car he was travelling in with his guard on Chakar Khan Road in Khuzdar town.
The attackers managed to escape from the scene. Both victims succumbed to their injuries on the way to hospital.
