LAHORE - The ministry of science and technology is organizing the 5th Pak-China Business Forum 2016 from March 19 to 22 at Expo Centre Lahore.

COMSATS University director Qaisar Abbas, while addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, said that more than 400 foreign companies will exhibit their products at the forthcoming event. He said that the forum will bring the foreign investors together in the country where business to business meetings will also be arranged.

In the Pak China Expo, students of various Pakistani universities will also share their projects with the foreign companies. It would be the event to explore business for our students, he added.

He said that the event will be held in collaboration with Ministry of Science & Technology, Punjab Board of Investment and Trade and NTS. These partners are offering their tremendous support for this event. Most importantly, 5th Pak china Forum will again welcome a delegation comprised of more than seven hundred Chinese guest this year.

Exhibitors’ logistics are arriving in Pakistan to participate in 5th Pak-China Business Forum (PCBF). Sources have confirmed that event would be inaugurated by Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif and Federal Minister, Ministry of Science and Technology & Chancellor, CIIT, Rana Tanveer, Chief Executive Officer, Punjab Board of Investment & Trade (PBIT) and Ministers, industries experts and other dignitaries will attend the event.

PCBF was established by the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), a leading public sector, federally chartered, Degree Awarding Institute, in 2012 as a part of its efforts towards the socio-economic development of the country by strengthening academia-industry linkages as well as focusing on research, innovation and commercialization.
