Sunni Tehrik has strongly condemned suicide bomb attack in the Sessions Court of Shabqadar, Charsada and termed it a bid to indulge peace-loving religious parties in the terrorist activities.

Addressing a meeting held here under the Chairmanship of Divisional President of ST Usman Naqvi, the speakers said that Mumtaz Qadri had no connection with the terrorists or their facilitators. They said that religious parties have no connection with the terrorists or extremists as they believe in the integrity and solidarity of the country.

They further said that ST would resist any move to make the country liberal or secular or to amend Blasphemy Act. They further said that Muslims of the country are prepared to render all sorts of sacrifices to protect Namoos-i-Risalat.

The ST declared that it would observe Youm-i-Wafa-i-Rasool on March 18 (Friday) at 170,000 Masajid, Madaris and Khanqah and would take out protest rallies and hold seminars to protest against the government and to condemn the hanging of Mumtaz Qadri.
