DUBAI (APP) - China won the bid to stage 25th edition of Asian Snooker Championship at the meeting Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports (ACBS) at Dubai Police Club on Thursday evening. "Yes China has been allocated the next event of the Asian Snooker", ACBS secretary Syed Mehboob told APP on Friday. He said Chinese Billiards and Snooker Association would confirm the venue and dates of the competition in next few months. He said India will host next year's Asian Under-21 Snooker Championship after Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI) entered their bid. President of ACBS Sindh Pulsirivong told the meeting that there would be hectic cue of sports activity in the continent between October-December 2009. The series of events were said to include Sea Games in Laos, Asian Indoor Games in Vietnam and East Asian Games in Hong Kong. Pakistan will take part in various events of Indoor Asian Games in Vietnam including Snooker.
