ISLAMABAD - Chief Commissioner Hamid Ali Khan has directed officials of the Local Government and Rural Development of Islamabad Capital Territory to ensure the quality work on all the ongoing development schemes in the rural areas of Islamabad. He gave these directions during his visit to the rural areas of Islamabad. He visited Bharakahu and Tarlai on Friday and inspected many ongoing development schemes, including water supply schemes, construction of rural roads and pavement of streets in the rural areas of Islamabad. Hamid Ali Khan said the government was spending millions of rupees on these development projects in the rural areas.  He directed the officials to complete the construction work of Patwar Khana in Bharakahu within a week and make it functional for delivery of the service. He further directed to the officials that work on the residential accommodation for the officials in Tarlai be expedited for timely completion of the project. He also listened to the problems of local community and ordered the officials concerned for the solution on priority basis.
