CM briefed about Vehari uplift schemes

About seventy-four development schemes including the construction of roads, sewerage lines, repair of roads were underway with the allocation of funds worth Rs33,655,200 during the current financial year, administration officers told the Punjab chief minister during his visit to the Vehari.
On the occasion, the chief minister had expressed satisfaction over performance of Vehari administration. The administration officials including TMO Mian Muhammad Azhar briefed Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. The TMO said that the administration had been carrying out different schemes of sewerage and roads worth Rs5,146,800 in Vehari.
He was told that scheduled of spray was being carried out to cover the city area which consists of four union councils. All th bazaars, streets, schools, park, tyre shops, mosques, graveyards and govt institutions have been added in the spray schedule. The TMO added that the purchase and provision of insecticides is the responsibility of Health Department along with technical training and supervision. For the awareness of the people about dengue fever, banners have been deployed at different points of the city while pamphlets were distributed to the people.
TMA has celebrated the sanitation week focusing on rural areas. Then the chief minister expressed satisfaction and said that the good government was being ensured across Punjab province.
