Rawalpindi - Rawal Shopping Festival, an event organised by Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), is in full swing and attracting residents of the city in a large number.
The RCCI has planned to organise a cycle race to add charm to the festival, informed RCCI spokesman on Saturday.
The cycle race would kick off today (Sunday) at 09:30am from Chamber and the route of the race would be from Mall Road to Golra Morr and Golra Morr to G-13 roundabout from where the cyclists would return to the starting point. He said that more than 40 contestants registered themselves to participate in the race. Commissioner Rawalpindi Zahid Saeed would be the chief guest of the ceremony.
 while Cantonment Executive Officer Fahim Zafar Khan and PML-N leader Rahat Qadoosi would be the guest of honour of the ceremony. Moreover, the 2nd lucky draw of the festival would be held today (Sunday) at 8:00pm, he informed.
