Rawalpindi - Anti-Narcotics Force carried out operations against drug mafia across the county and recovered 6.634 tons of narcotics, informed ANF spokesman yesterday.

He added that the ANF also held 7 smugglers and seized two vehicles being used for transportation of drugs value of which was Rs 4.089 billion in the international market.

He said that ANF in 6 countrywide operations at Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Mianwali, Peshawar and Qilla Abdullah recovered 6.634 tons of drugs, comprising 6.626 tons hashish, 7.1-kg heroin, 915 grams ice and 10 ecstasy tablets, along with recovery of 2 rifles and 1 pistol.
