ISLAMABAD - Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa said on Wednesday that  Pakistan is blessed with the most talented and vibrant youth, which is our real defence.

He stated this during an interaction with a group of female students from different public schools managed by a Non- Governmental Organization (NGO).

According to ISPR, the delegation met the army chief at the General Headquarters, where Gen Bajwa played a game of chess with one of the visiting students.  It said that the army chief lauded the visiting students' abilities in other sports, including cricket and football, and encouraged the students to equip themselves with knowledge of science, information technology as well as other "new disciplines".

The NGO, Zindagi Trust, is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation that strives to improve the quality of public education across Pakistan. The organisation was founded by singer Shahzad Roy, who is also the Trust's president.
