LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said the government has adopted a solid strategy for the supply of sugar to the consumers at the fixed rate and there will be no shortage of sugar in the province within next few days. Talking to media in Islamabad on Monday, the CM said in accordance with the order of Supreme Court, 70 per cent sugar was being supplied to corporate sector and 30 per cent to domestic consumers. However, he said, the existing sugar crisis will soon be overcome. Replying to a question about assistance to the families of the victims and the persons injured in the bomb blast in Shalimar Hotel Rawalpindi, Shahbaz Sharif said no discrimination was being maintained and financial assistance was being provided according to the policy. The whole nation is grieved over the loss of precious lives in the bomb blasts, he added.
