It is highly deplorable that DHQ hospital Chitral burns its waste in open space. Every week the residents of adjacent villages suffer from smoke. Due to this unhygienic practice, people lives are in danger. I appeal to Environmental Protection Agency of Pakistan to take action against the hospital. It is worth mentioning that Aga Khan hospital has introduced incinerators for safe disposal of hospital waste. The Government must have this system installed in hospitals all over the country.
