OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Four more dengue patients, including one woman, died people during the Eid holidays, taking the death tally in the City to 349. Besides, the deadly virus forced hundreds more in the metropolis to approach hospitals, with a confirmation that 199 more have been diagnosed positive. Parveen Bibi (45), a resident of Faisal Town, breathed her last at Jinnah Hospital. Muhammad Fazal (50) of Tajpura Scheme and Abdul Hameed (60) of Badami Bagh lost their lives at Services Hospital. Afzaal Akram (21) of Kot Khawaja Saeed died at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. CM: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited Services and Mayo hospitals on the Eid days. He went to different wards and reviewed the medical facilities being provided to the patients. He also went to the dengue wards and high dependency units in the hospitals, inquired after the health of each patient and prayed for their early recovery. Talking to the attendants of the patients, the Chief Minister said that solid measures have been taken for controlling the dengue virus and the efforts made round the clock have yielded good results.
