KHYBER AGENCY - At least four NATO supply trucks drivers were shot injured in two separate incidents in Shagai and Surkamar areas of tehsil Jamrud, sub-division of Khyber Agency, official sources informed on Saturday.

Sources said that in the first incident in Shagai, unknown militants opened fire on Nato supply vehicles loaded with armourer vehicles to en-route to Karachi and injured two drivers. While in the second incident, they said that the convoy was again targeted by unknown armed persons in Surkamar and injured two more Nato supply trucks' drivers.

"The militants after committing crime easily managed escape from the scene," sources said. Soon after the incident the administration and forces officials rushed to the spots, cordoned off the whole area and shifted the wounded to Jamrud hospital, they added. They said that a massive operation has been launched in the areas and six suspected persons have been arrested in this connection.

It is worth mentioning here that for the last few weeks, scores of terror incidents have been occurred in Jamrud.
