ISLAMABAD - Federal Minister and central PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has rejected Imran Khan’s demand to include representatives of intelligence agencies in a proposed commission of Supreme Court to probe alleged rigging in 2013 general elections.

“This is an illegal and irrational demand beyond our understanding. It’s a conspiracy to drag the army into politics. The government is open for dialogue with Imran Khan and we have never run away from talks,” Iqbal said while talking to a private TV channel.

He said the government has already accepted Khan’s demand for formation of apex court commission. “We have always stressed upon the need to sit on dialogue table.”

The federal minister urged Imran Khan to serve masses in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “Khan should first make a new Pakistan in his own province where people are disappointed and protesting.”
