Aniston marriage rumours ‘expected’

LOS ANGELES: (BFT): The Hollywood couple became an item in May 2011, getting engaged the following year. However despite a lengthy engagement there seems to be no plans to marry any time soon.

“There are bound to be rumours about their engagement, when they spend so much time apart,” a source told British magazine Grazia. “Justin’s been caught out referring to Jen as his ‘girlfriend’ or ‘partner’ rather than his fiancée, which has led some in their circles to wonder whether a wedding will ever materialise.

“With Jen and Justin both being evasive about the specifics - even to those close to them - it’s natural for people to question what’s going on.

They both insist that they are committed to getting married, but it’s beginning to sound increasingly hollow.”

Their long-distance romance has been well documented, with Jennifer, 45, based in LA for movie commitments and 43-year-old Justin often in New York filming his hit TV show The Leftovers.

Rumours also started to circulate last week when Jennifer was snapped without her engagement ring on, leading people to question whether wedding plans were still on. Her rep disputed the claims, revealing the band had just been sent off to be cleaned.

“Cynics would point out that they’ve been engaged for two years, and Jen has never appeared without her ring before. It seems strange that she would suddenly choose to have it cleaned out of the blue, unless they were about to have a surprise wedding,” the insider added.

Phil Collins: I can’t retire!

London (BFT): The British rocker enjoyed solo success and also musical acclaim with his band Genesis, who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.

Phil has declared that he has retired on numerous occasions, however he often finds himself performing again.

“I did the First Final Farewell tour and said goodbye at the end of show.  “In the documentary you hear me say, ‘I’ll do a month of shows here and a month of shows there but I’m not going out like we used to.’ And I said, I don’t really want to be doing this, but I’ll do it.’ And we had a great time. As far as I’m concerned, I have retired. But it’s hard to retire when they’re playing the songs on the radio.”

While Phil has amassed fans around the globe for his anthems, the hip-hop community also regard him as a huge influence. Ice-T is a big fan of the 63-year-old, though Phil is hard pressed when it comes to naming his top music stars.

“Oh, I don’t know. I don’t listen to music, which is strange. Obviously. I’m not interested in what other people are doing. There are things you hear - I like that song Happy by Pharrell [Williams], I think it’s a great groove and he’s a very smart guy. But that like, top of the pile,” he admitted.

 I party with fans: Ariana

New York (BT): The 21-year-old singer has taken the charts by storm with collaborations with the likes of Iggy Azalea, Jessie J and Nicki Minaj. Her life has changed so much over the past few years, which means she often gets caught up in surreal experiences. “Every day is different and crazy!” she laughed to German magazine Bravo.

Ariana has been plagued by negative gossip recently that suggests she’s turning into diva, making demands such as only being photographed from one side. Luckily her loyal supporters don’t take any notice. “My followers know who I am: I’m the same girl who loves the theatre, animals and her family more than anything,” she smiled.

“I will always be little Ariana from Boca Raton [Florida]!”

It might seem amazing that a girl from humble beginnings has made it so far. But the pretty brunette has her supportive family to thank.

“It’s all down to my brother Frankie, who’s ten years older than me, and who I looked up to as a child,” she explained.

“I was seven when he started appearing in musicals - and suddenly I thought musicals were the best thing ever!”
