Shafiq bagged highest salary as match fee, Senate told

ISLAMABAD - Senate session on Thursday discussed the detail of salaries given to Pakistani cricketers from 2103 to 2017 after the list was presented before the lawmakers. In the report, the senators were told about the income received by all major and minor national players from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as match fee. Former Test and ODI skipper Misbah-ul-Haq was said to earn Rs 70.14 million while Shahid Afridi earned Rs 0.5 million, skipper Sarfraz Ahmed Rs 60 million but Asad Shafiq was on top with Rs 110 million.
