KARACHI - The law enforcement agencies claimed to have arrested over a dozen suspects including a target killer associated with political party. According to the details, Khawaja Ajmair Nagri police claimed to have busted a gang of car lifter and arrested five of the group members while recovered eight snatched motorbikes and weapons from their possession.
Police said that the raid has been conducted on a tip off while arrested five men including Zohaib,Khalid, Tuqeer, Haseeb and Fara while recovered weapons and eight motorbikes snatched from different areas of the city. Police said that the group busted used snatched motorbikes and sold them in other provinces of the country. Police said that the accused persons confessed to snatched and sold scores of motorbikes. On the other side police claimed to have arrested at least ten suspects criminals in various raids and operations carried out in different parts of the city. Anti violent and crime cell claimed to have arrested two alleged target killers in a raid conducted in Guter Bagicha area of Lyari.
Police said that the arrested accused persons including Hamid aka Piya and Naeem aka Kala were associated with MQM London involved in number of target killing cases and other sort of criminal activities. Police claimed to have recovered from their possession while further investigation is underway. Landhi police claimed to have arrested two accused persons including Rizwan and Bakhtawar after an encounter near Landhi Chowck.
Police said that the accused persons were involved in more than 100 criminal cases including murders, robberies, and other sort of criminal activities. Police said that the accused persons were on the way to some where when police on routine patrolling singled them to stop for routine checking but pillion riders started firing to avoid arrest which resulting during exchange of fire police managed to arrested both the accused persons. Police registered the case while further investigation is underway. Baldia police claimed to have arrested two street criminals while recovered weapons from their possession. Police said that the arrested accused persons including Ali Raza and Muzamil were involved in number of criminal activities. Police said that accused persons confessed to conducted number of street crimes.
Similarly, Itahad Town police arrested three street criminals including Hazart Amin, Hashim and Gull Muhammad while recovered weapons from their possession. Shah Latif police claimed to have arrested two bandits used to robbed people usually withdrawing cash from the banks and ATM machines. Police said that the accused persons including Muhammad Jan and Mosa Khan were used to rob people on gunpoint when people withdrawn cash from the bank.
Police claimed to have recovered weapons and snatched motorbikes from their possession. On the other side, Landhi police claimed to have arrested two accused persons under foreign act and registered the case against the accused for illegal stay in the country.
