Awami Muslim League (AML) President and Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid on Saturday said that many politicians have requested for a National Reconciliation Ordinance and one of them is Shehbaz Sharif.
The railways minister also predicted the arresting of ‘big names’ in Sindh in the money laundering cases.
While addressing a press conference at the Railways Headquarters in Lahore, Rashid said, “Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the Hyderabad Express on November 15.”
The railway minister announced that the Pakistan Railway Academy Walton will be turned into a university. He also announced that the Lahore-Faisalabad train would travel till Multan.
Sheikh Rashid further said that the retired contract employees would be let go in a year’s time. The AML chief further said that the ticket prices would increase from November 21 due to an increase in diesel prices.
Further, Rashid said, “I can see the end of corrupt politicians in the coming year. Pointing towards the money laundering case, Sheikh Rashid said, “Huge things are going to be uncovered from the ice-cream [falooda] vendor. The ice-cream vendor’s account will tell us who is profiting which can lead to great arrests in Sindh.”
