WARBURTON - The Government High School Warburton's Old Students' Organization congratulated their former school fellow Muhammd Asif Sandila on assuming the charge of new Chief of Naval Staff of Pakistan. Mr Sandila belongs to Mehmoon Wali, a Sandhila family village near Warburton while there is a wrong impression that he belongs to Sangla Hill. However, he was very brilliant student of 8th class in 1968 when he left for Cadet College Kohat for further studies. His father Muhammad Ashraf Sandhila was Numberdar and head of Sandila family of Mehmoon Wali. Presided over a meeting, Organization President Javed Ashraf Shooka said that it was an honour for them that their fellow was the new Pakistan Naval chief. The Organization also distributed sweets among the present students while telling them how Mr Sandhila struggled in life and reached the office. Mian Muhammad Yousaf Narag, Syed Wallayat Shah, Muhammad Shafiq, Muhammad Arif Sandrana, Haji Muhammad Zubair and Liaqat Ali Shooka, the class fellows of Muhammad Asif Sandhila, also attended the meeting. They made the gathering emotional and sentimental while telling the stories of their time passed with Sandhila.
