ISLAMABAD - Main opposition parties in the National Assembly are not on the same page to devise any joint strategy to oppose any wrong policy of the incumbent government. Pakistan Muslim League (N) is not taking other opposition parties in the National Assembly into confidence before initiating any of move against the PPP-led government. Through joint strategy on any of issue opposition parties could play its better role, said Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) spokesman talking to TheNation. Being a main opposition party, the spokesman said, Pakistan Muslim League (N) has to adopt joint strategy with other opposition parties but it is not being practiced. With joint alliance, the opposition could even perform good against the wrong policies of incumbent govt, the JUI-F leader said. He was of the view that PML-N was playing friendly opposition role at the Centre to save its government in Punjab. With joint strategy the opposition parties could compel the PPP-led government to change its wrong policies for masses. JUI-F has always remained in favour of joint work, he maintained. Pakistan is passing through a difficult time and all the challenges including worsening law and order situation, power outages and issues need to be resolved, he added.
