LAHORE - Nadra mobile unit on Wednesday visited the Nazaria Pakistan Trust and issued smart cards to the trust workers.
NPT Chairman and The Nation Editor-in-Chief Dr Majid Nizami also got his smart card on the occasion. Others who got the cards included Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad, Col (r) Jamshed Ahmad Tareen, Mian Farooq Altaf, Dr Ajmal Niazi and Begum Bushra Rehman.
Dr Nizami on the occasion lauded government move to provide smart cards to the citizens on their doorsteps. He said that Rs 1,500 card fee was beyond the common man reach, so the government should revise it. The card holders could enjoy facility of life insurance on it, the authority official said.
Meanwhile, the students of City Foundation High School on Wednesday visited the Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan to attend Aghi programme of Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust. They also visited the Pakistan Movement Gallery on the occasion. Also, mobile ideological units led by their coordinators visited Government College for Women Model Town, APTECH Computer College Muslim Town, Iqra Public School Shalimar Town, Iqra Girls Public High School Daroghewala, Government Boys High School Thokar, Government Girls Primary School Muridwal, Iqra Rouzatul Ittefal Boys and Girls Campuses Pooch Road respectively.
The institution heads presided over the ceremonies in the said institutions. In their lectures, they lauded the NPT’s role in disseminating the Two-Nation Theory to the new generation.–Staff Reporter
