Khan hoodwinking masses

LAHORE - PML-N central leader and MNA Hamza Shahbaz Sharif yesterday said that Imran Khan is hoodwinking the masses in the name of a new Pakistan.
He said that Khan conspired against development of the government through the sit-in last year and his true face is exposed to people said Hamza Shahbaz to thousands of enthusiastic party workers at Doongi Ground Samnabad. He was campaigning for the former Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Minister for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali and Ayaz Sadiq among others also spoke to the gathering.
Hamza compared the character of his uncle Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and father Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif with that of Imran Khan when the Sharifs were living in Saudi Arabia fighting for democracy and Khan was standing with the dictator. He said the Sharifs set new example of bravery and courage facing the dictatorial rule while Imran could not stay in jail even for two days. “Pakistan runs on the blood of Sharifs,” he said.
He said Imran talks of new Pakistan which is impossible when he has people like Aleem Khan and Jahangir Tareen standing on his side. He said if Imran he wants to be brave he needs to cultivate courage and boldness of like the Sharifs. He said that the contest is between Qabza of the PTI and Jazba of the PML-N.
Addressing Imran Khan he said, you teased the ‘tiger’ and the ‘tiger’ will not stay calm on it now.
He said during dhanra Iman wanted blood shed. He said that despite that Nawaz Sharif constituted the Judicial Commission for his satisfaction. He said in contrast to Imran’s foul tongue and indecent remarks against Sharifs, decency and tolerance is the hallmark of the latter, which is paying them dividend to take the country to economic progress and development. He said Pakistan is today is changing with economic programme of the government whereof $46billion Chinese investment is coming to the country and foreign reserves have soared to a historic height. He said under completion Orange train project in Lahore will beat all other transport schemes.
Hamza said he was called son of a lohar (ironsmith) and I say yes I am whose grandfather worked hard to make a name in business. He said during Musharraf time, NAB grilled them for eight years but failed to find any case of corruption against them.
Hamza also counted achievements of the PML-N government towards peace in Karachi and efforts to end loadshedding. He said our brave army is fighting terrorism to purge the county of this scourge and the government fully supports it.
Hamza also accused PTI government in KPK of playing gambling on billions of rupees which were to be used on power projects in the province. He said previously wherever he countered Imran Khan in campaign, he trounced the PTI candidate and he should get ready again. Thousands of people from all walks of life took part in the public meeting.
