RWALPINDI – M Munir of Islamabad took on shot lead after the second round’s play of the Prime Minister Open Golf Championship at the Rawalpindi Golf Course yesterday. Munir carded a round of par 72 for his aggregate total of there under par 141 over two rounds. M Matloob of Garrison Golf Club was one stroke behind the leader along with Waheed Baloch of Karachi. Matloob had played rounds of 72 and 70 for his score of two under par 142 while Waheed carded a 71 on the first day and again a 71 on the second day. M Tariq (143) and Hamza Amin and M Shabbir (144) are also in contention for the title. Senior Professionals also completed their second round with Iftikhar Ahmed in the lead. Iftkhar had a score of 72 on the first day and 72 on the second day.
