LAHORE - Three more prosecution witnesses yesterday turned hostile in Zain murder case.

Ashraf, Arshad and Sakhawat, the witnesses, appeared before an anti-terrorism court and recorded their statements.

They said that they did not see Mustafa Kanju, son of former state minister Siddique Kanju, allegedly killing Zain, the orphan boy of Cantt area. The three witnesses also told the judge that they were present there on the occasion but they did not see any suspect.

After recording the statements of the witnesses, the court adjourned further hearing until Oct 12 and directed the prosecution to produce more witnesses.
