Four bogies of Rawal Express derail in Sarai Alamgeer, 30 passengers injured

At least 30 passengers were injured when four bogies of a train derailed near here in Jhelum on Saturday. According to police, four bogies of Rawalpindi bound Rawal Express coming from Lahore derailed near Sarai Alamgeer due to unknown reasons. The police and rescue teams reached the scene of the accident and started rescue activities. At least 30 people injured in the incident were shifted to District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) Jhelum for treatment. According to hospital sources condition of all the injured people was out of danger. PR authorities have started investigations into the incident. The accident partially affected the railway traffic but PR personnel soon cleared the track for trains travelling up and down the country.
