LAHORE (PR): Al-Mustafa Welfare Society (Trust) has started emergency relief measures in flood affected areas. These activities were going on with the collaboration of Al Mustafa Welfare Trust UK, while former federal minister Haji Muhammad Hanif Tayyab was supervising relief work. Abdul Razzaq Sajid, Chairman AMWT said that a truck caravan, carrying food aid had left from Karachi. This food aid will distribute in Chiniot, Faisalabad, Jhang areas in Punjab and affected areas of Balochistan.

Al Mustafa has also constituted volunteer teams for Rahimyar Khan, Multan, Sialkot, Muzaffarghar, Narowal, Jhang, Chiniot, Gujranwala, Jhelum, Bahawalpur and other parts of the Punjab, while provincial president Attaul Mustafa Noori will coordinate the relief activities. Prof. Ghulam Muhammad and Saeedud Din Tariq will coordinate in Balochistan and Attique Kiani will supervise the flood situation in Kashmir. Al Mustafa was distributing food packets, clean drinking water and setting up free medical camps for the vulnerable people of flood areas. Abdul Razzaq Sajid has appealed philanthropists to support Al Mustafa for relief work in flood affected areas.
