Burj Bank signs MoU with FBR’s LTU

KARACHI (PR): Burj Bank Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Large Tax Payers Unit (LTU), Karachi, a formation of the Federal Board of Revenue, Government of Pakistan. LTUs were created to provide convenience to the large taxpayers of the country. The Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony of Burj Carsaaz was held at Burj Bank Limited’s Head Office in Karachi. The signing ceremony was conducted between Ahmed Khizer Khan, President & CEO of Burj Bank & Dr. Muhammad Irshad, Chief Commissioner, Large Tax Payers Unit, FBR, Karachi.
With this MoU, Burj Bank will become the first Islamic Bank in Pakistan to enter into any business understanding with the LTU. Through this MoU, LTU employees will be able to benefit with preferential Burj Carsaaz services, such as quick processing time & discounts on financing of new and used cars. “Burj Carsaaz is one of the most rapidly expanding business portfolios in the Islamic Banking industry & we are proud that this product has become one of the leaders in auto financing within a very short period of time. We are thankful to the Management team of LTU, FBR for making us the preferred financing partner for their employees”, said Mr. Ahmed Khizer Khan. The Management Committee and senior officials of Burj Bank attended the signing ceremony whereas LTU, FBR was represented by Ms. Nausheed Javaid Amjad, Commissioner LTU, FBR and Mr. Syed Shakeel Ahmed, Additional Commissioner LTU, FBR.
