Shujaat also distributed relief goods among the flood-hit people. He was accompanied by PML Secretary General Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Ch Wajahat Hussain, Ch Shafat Hussain, Mian Imran Masood, Khalid Asghar Ghural and other leaders.

Announcing provision of fresh cooked food two times daily to the flood affected people of eight worst flood-hit villages of Gujrat, Shujat said that an arrangement has also been established in Natt House where flood-hit people would have their fill of free food. He said that those who became parliamentarians with the help of rigging had no sympathy for the general masses.
