KARACHI - Responding to the Prime Minister Imran Khan‘s appeal more leaders from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf came forward and announced donating their salaries to the dam‘s funds set up by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
On Sunday, terming the water crisis as a biggest problem of country, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail announced donating his one month salaries to dam funds. He said that construction of the dams were required to escape drought and cure should be find on priority regarding the waters resources crisis in Pakistan.
Furthermore, PTI legislator Malik Shahzad Awan elected from PS-116 Karachi Balida Town, on the call of PM Imran Khan, announced donating his five years salary to dam‘s funds. Earlier on Saturday PTI legislator Haleem Adil Sheikh announced donating his one month salary to dam‘s funds.
Meanwhile, Mufti Mohammed Naeem, head of Jamia Binoria, SITE Town endorsing Prime Minister appeal for donation in dam‘s funds has urged all the heads of seminaries and philanthropist to come forward and donate as much as they can in the dam‘s funds. He stressed that construction of dams were indispensable for the country keeping in view water resources situation of entire country.
