Shahram Khan apologizes for incorrect tweet

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shahram Khan Tarakai on Monday tweeted an apology for an earlier tweet of his.

The PTI leader, who is the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister of local government, elections, and rural development, earlier tweeted a factually incorrect tweet.

Tarakai had been earlier criticised on social media platforms after he had tweeted unverified information.

Yesterday, the PTI leader had tweeted an excerpt from an English newspaper that said that Quaid-e-Azam had also asked the public to contribute funds at the time of partition.

“A tweet was deleted from my timeline because of factual inaccuracies. The error is regretted,” the PTI leader tweeted.
