SIALKOT - Federal Population Welfare Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the passage of Constitutional 18th Amendment bill unanimously by the National Assembly was a unique precedent in the constitutional history of Pakistan by the PPP government. Addressing public meetings here in Pindi Panjaoran, Gujral and Kothay Manasan villages after inaugurating the Sui gas projects on Saturday, she said that all the political parties had showed complete unity in the passage of bill in assembly as a result of that, balance of power had been shifted back not only to the prime minister but also to the parliament. She was confident that all the political parties would demonstrate the same spirit in future in resolving other national issues collectively. The minister urged upon the people that they should forge complete unity among their ranks for strengthening PPP in Sialkot district, which was mobilising all the available resources for resolving the masses problems on top priority. Earlier, the minister inaugurated the Sui gas projects.
