LAHORE (Online) - PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif has said that Qatar has helped Pakistan in every critical time. He also urged investors of Qatar to make investment in Pakistan. He was speaking to a high-level delegation of Qatar, which called on him at his Raiwind residence here on Saturday. Matters of mutual interest were discussed in the meeting. The PML-N Quaid said that Pakistan and Qatar were bound in religious and cultural bonds since long period. People of the both the countries take pride in the existing brotherly relations and time-tested friendship between Pakistan and Qatar. The investors of Qatar should invest in the sectors of information technology, energy and development of infrastructure in Pakistan, he said, adding the business community of the two countries should bolster trade ties between them. He urged Pakistani community in Qatar to provide more services to consolidate economic relations between Pakistan and Qatar. Diplomats of Qatar while speaking on the occasion said their country was fully cognizant of the economic situation of Pakistan, adding Qatar was all set to lend assistance in diverse sectors and rehabilitation of displaced persons in tribal areas of Pakistan.
