PESHAWAR Federal Minister for Railways Haji Ghulam Ahmed Bilour has said that the traders community had played a commendable role in maintaining law and order in Peshawar city by fully cooperating with police. The Government will utilise all its resources to solve the problems of the traders community on priority basis. He was talking to media persons on the eve of oath taking ceremony of the newly elected cabinet of Sikandarpura Traders Association. Federal Minister Haji Ghulam Ahmed Bilour was the chief guest on the occasion. He said that selfless service of the people was like worship. Those who serve the people get due respect from the people in return. He said that keeping the aspirations of the people of the province in view, We always continued the movement for getting a name for our province. At last with the blessings of Almighty Allah, we succeeded in getting a name and an identity for our province. The Federal Minister said that being a majority community, it was the right to get a name. He also said that it was the result of the political vision of the present political leadership due to which all this was made possible. He also thanked President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and all other political parties supported the renaming NWFP as Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa. Federal Minister Haji Ghulam Ahmed Bilour said that with the passage of the 18th Amendment Bill, Parliament would emerge as a supreme institution and the 1973 Constitution would be restored in its original shape. He also congratulated the newly elected cabinet of the Sikandarpura Traders Association and hoped that it would strive hard to resolve the problems of the traders, shopkeepers and the general masses.
