ISLAMABAD The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) unanimously recommended to hold the next elections of the Federation within a period of 4 to 6 months according to the constitution of the body. The Federation met on Saturday at Islamabad Club in the chair of its President Senator Syed Dilawar Abbas. The 12 affiliated unites out of 14 attended the meeting in addition to Associate Member Subh-e-Nau and other Management Committee Members. A source informed this scribe that it was decided in the meeting to hold the next elections after the elections of provincial associations. The AGM also empowered the President PTF to deal with Ministry of Sports, Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) and Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) regarding the PTF elections. A five-point Agenda, including the approval of the last general council meeting, approval of accounts, updated activities report of PTF, discussion on the PTF elections schedule and amendment in the PTF constitution also came under discussion during the meeting.
