MARDAN - An 8-year-old boy was sexually abused allegedly by a man in Takhatbhai area on Monday, police sources said on Tuesday. They said that the victim Mansoor, son of Khaista Rehman of Mazdoorabad Takhatbhai area reported to the local police that he was playing cricket in the street when his the ball went in the dilapidated house of Ghulam Raheem.
He further said that he entered the house to bring the ball. During that time, the accused Misbahullah entered the house and by force sexually abused him. He said that the accused gave him 100 rupees and also threatened him that if he told any one he would kill him. The police registered a case against the accused under section 377.
Meanwhile, a minor was crushed to death by a speeding tractor-trolley in Shahbaz Gahri police station, police said. Eight-year-old Lala, daughter of Sartaj, resident of Butseri, was standing along with her father Sartaj and mother Mahnaz on a road side at Narshak chowk when a speedy tractor-trolley (1537) hit her. Driver of the van, Farhad Ali, son of Faqir Gul, resident of Butseri, escaped after the incident. The police have registered a case against the driver. However, no arrest has been made in this regard.
