TANK - A man was shot dead in Tank bazaar over a family dispute, local police said.
According to police, Azmat Khan, son of Gul Zaman, resident of Mohallah Maidan, was on his motor-bike when accused Shah Behram, son of Muhammad Hussain, opened fire on him near fruit and vegetable market. The brother of the deceased, Aslam, while lodging an FIR with the Cantonmet police, told that a family dispute was between the deceased and the accused Shahbehram and reportedly the latter had threatened the deceased of dire consequences in this regard.
The police have registered case and are investigating.
