LAHORE - Co-curricular activities play a vital role in upgrading the standard and repute of an academic institution. It helps in developing communication skills and confidence in students.

This was said by LCWU Vice-Chancellor Dr Sabiha Mansoor in her address during oath-taking ceremony of newly-elected Students Council in varsity Auditorium on Tuesday. The VC announced that the Directorate of Students Affairs had been established to coordinate and facilitate students for co-curricular activities. On the occasion, 170 students including Head Girl, Deputy Head Girl, General Secretary and other office bearers took oath. Registrar, Dean Dr KJ Cheema and others attended the ceremony.

Dr Sabiha added that student council’s role would be helpful to achieve the targets of vision 2020 at LCWU. “We are educating more than 10 thousand students to combat the challenges of modern age,” she concluded.
