ISLAMABAD –Twenty students of Roots School System Cultural group celebrated Pakistan week at Singapore Regional Language Learning Center (RLEC) Auditorium and made history by being the first school ever from Pakistan to be hosted by the Pakistan High Commission at Singapore H.E. Syed Hasan Javed. It is important to note that 75% of the population in Singapore speaks Mandarin, so the purpose of the Roots Chinese Language Department and Cultural performances is to present the other side of Pakistan, promoting Pakistan students as multilingual, global, entrepreneurial students who have both qualifications, languages and diversity imbued in them, says a press release.
