A series of crackers blasts and firing incident rocked various districts in Sindh on Wednesday. Unknown miscreants set ablaze two oil tanker while two persons were injured in firing incidents. The police arrested more than 20 suspects in connection with the blasts and firing.

Two persons were injured due to firing of unknown armed men in Latifabad No 7 & 10 of Hyderabad. The injured were rushed to hospital for treatment.

More than 10 crackers blasts and firing incidents were reported in different areas of Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Sukkur and Khairpur.

Two oil tankers were torched by miscreants at National Highway in Babrlu area of Khairpur and at Sakrand Bypass in Nawabshah.

The police arrested more than 20 suspects including four members of a banned organization during operation against miscreants allegedly involved in firing, crackers blasts and sabotaging peace, from different areas of the four districts.

It should be mentioned that students wing of Jiaye Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) expressing concerns over the pace of investigation into murder of their chairman Bashir Ahmed Qureshi, had announced to observe wheel jam strike across province on Wednesday.
