ISLAMABAD- The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) today released details of gold declared by women politicians in their assets.

According to reports, 1200 tolas are owned by only five women politicians. Former federal minister Firdous Ashiq Awan tops the list with 755 tolas of gold with an estimated value of Rs37.7 million. Kashmala Tariq of the PML-Q stood second with 200 tolas. MQM’s Khush Bakht Shujaat has also declared to have 130 tolas. Former foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar is at number 4 with 70 tolas while Federal State Minister for IT Anusha Rehman owns 60 tolas of gold.
