Federal Minister for Defence, Water and Power Khawaja Asif hoped gradual reduction in the loadshedding of electricity during the summer season.
Talking to party workers at PML-N House Sialkot city, the federal minister added that the government’s hectic efforts were now bearing fruits due to which the government remained successful in reducing the intensity of energy crisis.
Addressing an open court held at PML-N House Paris Road Sialkot City, he said that the government was making efforts to raise the living standard of the people by ensuring easy and smooth provision of facilities at their doorsteps.
Asif added that it was gradually fulfilling its all the political promises in the larger national interest and doing politics of principles and ignoring its all the personal political gains. He listened to the complaints and problems of the people and issued orders on various applications.
FBR SIMPLIFIES I-FORM FOR IMPORTERS: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) simplified I-Form of WeBOC to facilitate the importers, advising them to benefit from the facility for the promotion of their business.
Customs Karachi Additional Director Abdul Hayi Sheikh stated this while addressing a training and advocacy session on “Rollout of I-Form (EIF) Module under WEBOC” held at SCCI auditorium.
Directorate of Reforms and Automation Customs House Karachi and Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) jointly organised the session. He said that now the importers would be able to fill the online I-Form by themselves, as the related bank will automatically attest it by saving the precious time of the importers and halt the ways of the automatic imposition of excessive import duties on the import consignments.
He said that the WeBOC’s I-Form would also be helpful in curbing corruption in the levy of the tax ratio on the imported consignments. The WeBOC experts from Karachi highlighted the importance of I-Form Module and asked the importers and exporters to adopt the advanced module under the WeBOC System.
Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Vice President Syed Ehtesham and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Sialkot Director Fazal Mehmood also addressed the participants.
