PM extends 'Koi Bhooka Na Soye' program to three more cities of KP, Punjab

Prime Minister Imran Khan has extended  Ehsaas Koi Bhooka Na Soye  program before the holy month of Ramadan to three more cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.

In virtual ceremony on Sunday, Prime Minister Imran Khan along with Chief Ministers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab inaugurated a free food service under the program through several truck-kitchens in Faisalabad, Lahore and Peshawar.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, while addressing the ceremony said that uplifting weaker segments of the society is responsibility of the state. The programme will be up scaled to other parts of the country in phases, he added.

It is pertinent to mention here that each truck will feed 1,500 to 2000 people daily on designated service points.

The concept of truck kitchens  Ehsaas Koi Bhooka Na Soye  was launched under the umbrella of Ehsaas to serve free meal boxes twice a day to daily wage earners initially in Rawalpindi and Islamabad
