KARACHI - The detained leader of Mohajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi (MQM-H) Afaq Ahmed on Sunday was released on parole for eight hours to attend the burial process of his father, soon following the news of his parole, tension was gripped at Landhi when Home Department released. As per detail, Provincial Home Ministry has released MQM (H) Afaq Ahmed for attending the funeral and burial process of his father Syed Shafqat Hussain 75, who was died at his house No. 73 Sector 36/E, Landhi number 6. His death was natural. At this, the family members contacted with the leadership of the MQM-H and informed them about Shafqat's death. Akhtar Hussain, In charge Rabita Committee told the media representatives that getting the news of Hussains' death, they requested jail management to release Ahmed for sometime so that he might attend his father, funeral and burial process. Having permission from department, he expressed his thanks to the home ministry for the cooperation of the Jail's management. Meanwhile, Inspector General of Prisons Yamin Khan told the newsmen that after receiving approval from home department, they released Ahmad on parole implementing the order. Afaq's father's funeral prayers held at the Qudsi Masjid placed near to the house after Esha prayers then he was buried at Rehri Goth graveyard with bundle of prayers and tears.
