SARGODHA - Chicken meat sellers called off their two days strike against the fixation of poultry rates after successful negotiation between the Poultry Association and the District Administration. According to District Officer Poultry Production Dr Muhammad Javeed, it has been decided that the poultry meat will be sold at Ramazan bazaars Rs10 less than the open market. He also said that due to severe weather the poultry nourishment and production is being affected due to which variation of rates have been occurred. He expected that after the normal position the rates would be calm down. Meanwhile, people take a breath of relief over an end to the strike. Police ban use of firework crackers: The police have banned the use of traditional firework crackers in Ramazan. According to the police, using that explosive (gola) for intehai-e-sehar is illegal and only siren as well as loudspeaker is allowed. Action will be taken against such mosques using explosives.
