NOORPUR THAL - The PPP-led government has been struggling for the welfare of people and utilising all-out resources to improve their living standards. Talking to newsmen, local leader of PPP Raja Habib Ullah Nardo said that the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has disbursed financial assistance of Rs54 billion among its beneficiaries in a transparent manner. He said that the PPP government is working on different projects to overcome electricity shortage in the country. Raja Habib further said the government has initiated work on small and big dams and some other projects to enhance power generation in the country.
