HAFIZABAD - Punjab Teachers Associations office-bearers have called on the Punjab CM to reward the teachers of elementary and high school who have shown hundred percent results. In a statement, Rana Muhammad Imran Akhtar, Muhammad Akbar Shahid, Zubair Ahmad Bawera and Ghulam Jafar Bajwa said that during 2010 middle and high examination results, the CM had suitably awarded teachers who shown 80 per cent results. They said that various middle and high school teachers have shown 100 per cent results this year but they were deprived of their promised reward. They urged the CM to honour his promise by giving awards to teachers who shown 100 per cent results. Distinction: The student of Government High School No 1 Hafizabad won the first position in the SSC annual examination of the Gujranwala Board in the district. As per the boards matriculation results, Bin Yamin Butt scored 1008 marks in boys. He got 6th position in the board. Zobia Shfqat Tarar, daughter of a local journalist Shafqat Hussain Tarar of DPS Hafizabad bagged first position among the girls. She scored 1001 marks while Faiza Awan and Alizay Mukhtar Tarar, students of MH Sufi Foundation School Kot Ishaq, obtained second and third position among girl candidates in the district.
