Justice sought in murder case

VEHARI - A complainant has alleged that the Sadder police were unwilling to provide justice in his brother’s murder case.
Abdul Ghaffar, the complainant, was giving his statement in the murder case of Muhammad Amjad who was killed one month ago.
As per case details, on the day of the incident, Amjad went with Molvi Tayyab, a friend of Amjad, to the village 200/EB for bringing the father of Molvi Tayyab on the bike. After some time of their departure, the residents of area listened hue and cry of Tayyab.
He was crying that some robbers stopped them and opened fire on them. Resultantly, Amjad died on the spot. After listening the noise, Zaheer Warriach and some other residents reached the spot but found no evidence of robbery.
Meanwhile, Tayyab and his father said that they had recognised the robbers and accused Khan Muhammad and Shah Nawaz of committing the robbery. Both the accused are the residents of the same village as Tayyab and his family had a grudge against them.
But, the complainant said, later it was revealed that Amjad had allegedly developed illicit relations with a woman from Tayyab’s family. Therefore, Tayyab killed him. He alleged that Sadder police SHO Rashid and IO Zulfiqar Gujjar were supporting the accused not paying heed to their complaint.
Protest against superintendent jail: The scores of peoples demonstrated against a superintendent of jail for getting electricity feeder changed which caused low voltage of electricity in the area.
Residents of village 13-WB protested against Jail Superintendent Shahraam Khan. They burned tyres and blocked the Khanewal Road.
They said that Shahraam Khan changed the electricity feeder of Bilal feeder into Pippli feeder with the alleged coordination of Mecop officials which caused low electricity voltages in the area.  The residents said that they were facing multiple problems.
On the over hand, Shahraam Khan said that residents of 13-WB were using the jail feeder for more then one year and now the Jail authorities had converted electricity line in to legal line. He further said that due to wrong electricity line jail prisoners were facing great difficulties.
