ISLAMABAD  – Ministry of Religious Affairs is organising a four nights Mehfil-e-Shabina at Faisal Masjid, Islamabad from nights of 26th Ramazanul Mubarak to 29th of Ramazanul Mubarak corresponding to 14th to 17th August. Huffaz have been selected from across the country for recitation of Holy Quran in the Mehfil-e-Shabina. These Huffaz will recite 08 paras daily on the nights of 26th, 27th and 28th Ramazanul Mubarak and 06 paras of Holy Quran on the night of 29th Ramazanul Mubarak during Traveeh prayers.  The time of Isha prayer at Faisal Masjid is 9 PM and that of Mehfil-e-Shabina is 9.15 PM. Arrangements for public transport have been made by Road Transport authorities, Rawalpindi/Islamabad to facilitate the public to attend the Mehfil-e-Shabina.
Interested people have been advised not to bring along minor children for the sake of sanctity of the occasion. Mobile phones, cameras, bags, thermos bottles and laptops are also not allowed, the Ministry of Religious Affairs said in a press release.
